The Science Behind EotoCare

EotoCare is built on decades of peer-reviewed neuroscience research. Our approach combines two powerful therapeutic modalities.

Auditory-Motor Mapping Training (AMMT)

Research shows that engaging auditory and motor pathways simultaneously (singing + tapping) can activate the "Mirror Neuron System" in non-verbal children. This technique helps build new neural pathways for communication.

Key Research

Non-Invasive Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS)

Low-frequency vibrations and rhythmic entrainment stimulate the Vagus Nerve, shifting the Autonomic Nervous System from "Fight or Flight" (Sympathetic) to "Rest and Digest" (Parasympathetic). This helps reduce anxiety and meltdowns.

• Intervention Levels

Tailored Support Framework

Level 1

Regulation

Target Challenges:

  • Emotional volatility
  • Sensory overload
  • Difficulty falling asleep

Musical Strategy:

Low-frequency stabilization, steady entrainment rhythms, absent of sudden transients. Focuses on vagal tone regulation.

Level 2

Interaction

Target Challenges:

  • Social withdrawal
  • Joint attention deficits
  • Repetitive behaviors

Musical Strategy:

Structured melodic phrasing, turn-taking call-and-response patterns. Encourages anticipatory engagement.

Level 3

Stimulation

Target Challenges:

  • Low responsiveness
  • Verbal delays
  • Cognitive regression

Musical Strategy:

High-contrast rhythmic activation, rich harmonic textures, multi-sensory cueing to spark cortical arousal.

How We Create Therapeutic Music

1

Non-Invasive Sensing

We securely capture biomarkers using standard device sensors (camera/microphone). No wearables required initially. We analyze micro-expressions and voice prosody to establish a baseline.

2

Affective Decoding

Biometric data is mapped to the Valence-Arousal (VA) circumplex model. This determines the user's current emotional state relative to their target therapeutic state.

3

Iso-Principle Generation

Our AI music engine generates audio that matches the user's current state (ISO principle), then gradually shifts parameters (tempo, mode, timbre) to guide them toward the desired regulation state.

4

Real-Time Feedback Loop

The system continuously monitors physiological responses. If signs of distress or disengagement appear, the music automatically adapts its complexity and intensity to re-regulate.
